Connect Claude

Where it works today.

Send16 talks to Claude through the Model Context Protocol. Get a key from Settings in Send16, then pick the place you use Claude.

  • Claude, desktop and browser

    In Settings, then Connectors, add a custom connector with this address, then sign in to Send16. Then any chat, including one about a design, can save it to Send16.

  • Claude Code

    Claude Design can hand a whole design to Claude Code. Add Send16 there and Claude Code saves it as a template.

What is Claude Design?
Claude Design is Anthropic's canvas for visual work: you describe what you want, Claude lays out options, and you refine them with comments and edits. It can export HTML or hand a design to Claude Code. Anthropic launched it in research preview for Claude Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans.
Do I need a paid Claude plan?
For Claude Design, yes, at the moment. Send16 itself has a free plan, and you can also design emails inside Send16 with Claude without any Claude plan at all.
Is Send16 made by Anthropic?
No. Send16 is an independent product made in Melbourne by Spruik. It works with Claude through the Model Context Protocol, the same way it works with Cursor or any other MCP client.
Can Send16 see my Claude chats?
No. Send16 only sees what Claude sends it through a tool call, like the HTML of the email you asked it to save, and only with the key you connected.
What if the design uses fonts my readers don't have?
Email apps fall back to a safe font when a web font isn't available. The inbox preview in Send16 shows how it looks in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and dark mode before you send, and flags anything that will break.
Can Claude send the campaign too?
Yes, if you ask it to. It goes through the same checks and the same holds as a campaign sent from the app, and it can only reach the workspace your key belongs to. Most people ask Claude to schedule it and have a look first.
